The Georgia Long Term Care Partnership Program (Partnership) provides residents of Georgia an alternative to spending down or relocating assets by creating a partnership with Medicaid and private Long Term Care Insurance companies. This partnership allows individuals a way to afford qualify long term care insurance without having to deplete all of their assets.

The Georgia Long Term Care Partnership Program will provide Medicaid asset protection. Every dollar that the LTC Insurance Partnership Policy pays out in benefits, a dollar of one's assets will be protected. Once all the benefits are used, special Medicaid edibility rules will apply if additional coverage is needed.
